Girls Night Out Makeup and Hair!

21:06

Hello ladies, I hope your week is going well so far. Todays blog post is inspired recent social events going on in my life. We all have those Friday and Saturday nights where we have an amazing 'Girls Night' with our friends. Sometimes you just want to chill out and have a Gossip Girl marathon (Chuck and Blair forever) while you consume junk food until four in the morning. Most of the times I like to go out and get all dressed up, and have a grand old time. With that being said its always difficult to decide how I am going to do my make up and hair. I thought I'd help all you ladies out who share this problem with me. Below I share my go-to makeup look and hairstyle perfect for any Girls Night Out!

I created a subtle grey smokey eye with a nude lip, perfect for your exciting night out (Video tutorial below)

Makeup Used:
Foundation: Rimmel Wake Me Up in Ivory
Concealer: Rimmel Wake Me Up in Very Fair
Eyeshadow: Urban Decays The Naked Two Palette
Brows: Urban Decays The Naked Basics Palette
Mascara: The Great Lash Loads of Lashes in Very Black
Bronzer: NYC Smooth Skin Bronzing Powder in Sunny
Highlighter: The Body Shop Highlighting Baubles
Lipstick: The Kate Lipstick in 105

I paired that makeup look with a quick and easy braided side bun, guaranteed to keep your hair out of your face while you dance the night away.

I just think this is perfect and easy for a night out. When your dancing and having fun you don't want to be worrying about whether or not your hair is going to fall out. This messy braided updo is fun, easy and stylish.

How to Create

1. Section two parts of hair closes to your face.

2. With each section you want to section it into three and braid to the ends of your hair.

3. Pin each braid to the back of your head so it looks like a backwards headband.

4. Take your remaining hair and gather it to one side of your head.
5. Braid the section of hair you just created.

6. Take the braid you just created and twirl it on itself to create a low side bun.

7. Secure with an elastic or bobby pins.
